The Scripps Machine Listening Lab works at the intersection between oceanography and machine learning, extracting actionable insights from large underwater acoustic datasets, with a deep understanding of physical, biological and anthropogenic sound sources. We develop big data-based solutions to address current challenges in ocean observation, monitoring, and management using sound.
